THE RIGHT RENTAL LED BOOTH LIGHTING
When renting trade show booth lighting, the right lighting is crucial to attract potential customers at trade shows. Choosing the right LED spotlights depends on what needs to be illuminated. If people are to be illuminated, warm lights like halogen trade show lights should be used. These lights are more flattering than cool, blue LEDs that can make your salespeople look pale and sickly. However, if you want to highlight products, it is better to use cool LED trade show lighting. These can emphasize details and direct the customer’s attention. Bulbs are classified by colour temperature, with softer, “warmer” lights having a lower colour temperature, while harder, “cooler” lights have a higher colour temperature. There are three main bulb colour temperatures for LED trade show lighting:
- Soft White (2700-3000K)
- Bright White/Cool White (3500-4100K)
- Daylight (5000K+)
The higher the temperature in degrees Kelvin, the whiter the colour temperature – even with lights in the same temperature range. A 3000K light will be whiter than a 2700K light, even though both are considered Soft White. Therefore, it is important to choose the right colour temperature of the LED spotlights for trade show lighting to present the products or services optimally.
LED SPOTLIGHTS VS. HALOGEN BULBS
Halogen bulbs and LED spotlights are classic examples of warm and cool light for trade show booth lighting. Halogen lamps have a colour temperature of about 3000K, which is at the end of the Soft White spectrum, while LED spotlights can range from 4000K (Cool White) to 7500K (Daylight). However, there are not only differences in colour temperature between LED spotlights and halogen bulbs, but also in other points:
- Brightness: LED lamps are just as bright or even brighter than halogen bulbs, although they consume less energy.
- Energy Efficiency: LED spotlights are highly energy-efficient, resulting in significant cost savings and a more environmentally friendly choice for trade show lighting.
- Durability: LED lamps far outlast halogen bulbs, with lifespans of up to 50,000 hours.
- Heat Output: LEDs generate minimal heat compared to halogens, enhancing safety and ease of use for trade show lighting.

WHAT COLOR TEMPERATURE SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR MY EXHIBITION STAND LIGHTING?
Light bulbs are generally classified by color temperature, with softer, “warmer” lights having a lower color temperature, while harder, “colder” lights have a higher color temperature.
There are three main color temperatures of the luminaires for the LED exhibition stand lighting:
- Soft White/Warm White (2700-3000K)
- Bright White/Cool White/Cool White (3500-4100K)
- Daylight (5000K+)
The higher the temperature in Kelvin, the whiter the color temperature – even with light in the same temperature range. A 3000K light will be whiter than a 2700K light, although both count as soft white.
It is therefore important that the correct color temperature of the LED spotlights for the exhibition stand lighting is selected in order to present the products or services in the best possible way. Renting exhibition stand lighting is then very easy to do.
